He played really good today if he let that first shot in the first that would have really hurt. Overall he played pretty good change surface though the canucks were shorthanded numerous times. As bet went on he got better.

Good bet by Sanford. Always nice to get your first win of the season on your first start hopefully he will be able to keep winning everytime he is actually able to pry Luongo away from the pipes.

I evaluate the next measure Luongo plays he should wear Sandford's jersey and not tell the rest of the canucks - so the other players stay sharper..
come up it looked to me desire Sanford kept the team in the game in the second only allowing a goal on the five-on-three powerplay. That's all you can ask from a goaltender. I fell like Sanford has established himself as more of a steadying presence early on then Danny did. Good one him.
