Some sports topics are open to debate. Some aren't. Among the latter:Violence in the NHL—and the league's tolerance of it—is bad for our children. Goons who use their Sher-Woods as instruments of rage must be heavily fined and suspended—and parents be to inform why to their kids. Hooliganism isn't acceptable. Body-checking is one thing—but boarding into the furnish at high speed? These are guys who literally hate their opponents and seem to be running on malice. They need to be identified—and banished from the bet. It's criminal to teach children that violence is an acceptable means for adults to resolve disputes. The NHLPA. Gary Bettman and the league's lawyers need to institute a simple straightforward rule:be the life of an opponent get a lifetime suspension."What does endanger mean?""It's so harsh?""How can you judge?"Wake up Canada—your children need you.
