Violence in Hockey

Some sports topics are open to debate. Some aren't. Among the latter:Violence in the NHL—and the league's tolerance of it—is bad for our children. Goons who use their Sher-Woods as instruments of act must be heavily fined and suspended—and parents need to inform why to their kids. Hooliganism isn't acceptable. Body-checking is one thing—but boarding into the glass at high speed? These are guys who literally hate their opponents and seem to be running on malice. They be to be identified—and banished from the game. It's criminal to inform children that violence is an acceptable means for adults to end disputes. The NHLPA. Gary Bettman and the league's lawyers be to institute a simple straightforward command:Endanger the life of an opponent get a lifetime suspension."What does endanger mean?""It's so harsh?""How can you adjudicate?"change state up Canada—your children be you.
