Why I Don?t Play Soccer

I’m a clumsy guy. Always running into things tripping everywhere. But the worst thing about me is that I have horrible hand-eye coordination. Not saying you need it to get some but obviously you need to be a little more careful in what you choose to do because of it. One of those things I choose not to do is play soccer. Well actually. I choose not to play goalie, where good hand-eye coordination comes in handy more times than not. This guy obviously doesn’t understand things the way I (and many of us fellow poorly coordinated folk) do. Holly Plays Goalie

On Nov 3 (Annika's birthday... I will not drop soon how hectic this made the day) Holly got to play goalie for the first measure. She wasnt afraid at all.. in fact she was so excited she barely ate!Here are some random shots of her playing goalie :)Coach Dad shooting on her... Getting a little instruction... Always in a good sight dad says!Moved to the other team so that she got more shots on her... there was not a lot of activity in her end. In the end I think Holly thought being a goalie was a little bit boring and she preferred to be out in the action. Her words were "I dont get enough "attention" in the nets" hahahahahah oh well I wont really wish for her to be goalie there's a tonne of compel on the goalie. If she decides to be a goalie good for her. She liked it.. but.. it was boring hehehe!

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

Welcome to my blog! I am just a normal 25 year-old girl from the Midwest (St. Louis. Missouri). I enjoy all different types of sports and have played just about every sport recreationally competitively or in the back yard. I played soccer in high school and then walked on a Division II team where I was the back up goalie for two years. I loved working out with the aggroup and playing soccer to get fit. I was in the beat cause of my life (5 or 6 years ago). Now that I undergo graduated and am living in the "real world". I haven't been so active. I am a Medicare Auditor for the Federal Government so I sit at my desk for 8 hours a day in lie of a computer screen and type away. No activity or apply there! I also instruct a 2nd grade girl's soccer team. We just finished our outdoor season and ordain start an indoor soccer session in February. Coaching those girls is one the best things I have ever done. Right now I exercise about once a week. Really all I do is play goalie for an hour a week in an Over 18 soccer league--not much in the way of real exercise. I am definitely a beginner and would like to start working out at a reasonable pace that isn't going to kill me in the first week. I want to lose weight so I can accept pain but I don't want to get discouraged in the beginning. My biggest challenge is getting motivated to get up off the couch after work. Growing up I was always on the move so I know I am capable. There is one big thing to have in mind however. I am getting married in less than 8 months and I would really desire to be in better shape. I be to feel good look good and just feel energized as I begin the next chapter of my life. I want to do this more than anyone knows. My biggest goal is to lose weight (obviously)!! I now weigh exactly 200lbs (size 18) which is ridiculous and I would like to lose 30lbs (coat 12). I only have a few months before I have to get my dress so the measure is now. I remember when I was 170lb and it was great. I had more energy and felt good about myself. I took pride in myself and felt really good. Another goal of exploit is to get more fit. I want to increase my agility and endurance which would help improve my soccer skills. I would love to actually play soccer in a position other than goalie. I want to play an entire bet (with regular substitutions) as a handle player. That would be awesome. My third goal would be to learn how to eat healthy and really embrace a lifestyle of healthy eating. I want to learn what is healthy and what isn't..

Yesterday Not Good

That affix yesterday was at the end of a bad day and it sounded angry. I'm approve to normal today. Well as normal as can be. I'm really itching to play football. The season isn't desire enough and hockey just isn't the same. I'm still thinking about playing hockey this year the dues are due by Oct 10th I think. So I undergo time to end. I doubt I can play Goalie so I'll have to play Forward or Defense. I'd rather play Goalie. I need to get into exceed shape for next season. And in command. I've gotten a little doughy since I moved to Wisconsin 2 years ago. Of cover in 2004 I was a wopping 130lbs give or take. Now. 3 years later I'm up to 170lbs. I'm not a Tall or Short guy. I'm 5'9". My Ideal weight according to GNC weight forge in about 155lbs or so. I feel thats a little light. I'd like to be about 180lbs but svelt. I need to start running or doing some kind of cardio. I need a new Desk. Anyone got one I can take?I also nee lunch anyone Buying?Man am I needy.

We contacted the Lydells and they said they would love to act some photos for us (plus it gave us a good excuse to FINALLY meet in person! ). Soccer Game

Jonah played his first soccer game of the season today. Here are the little munchkins warming up before the bet. Jonah's coach is the lady in pink. He's on the blue team this week. The shirts are reversible and the two teams learn and play each other every week. It's a church league. Andy practiced his karate kid. I mean his impel just off the sideline. The league is more concerned with sportsmanship than competition. Jonah's working on his sportsmanship but has pretty much mastered the competition thing as can be seen here where he shoves Little Yellow out of the way to kick a goal... AGAINST HIS OWN aggroup! Don't worry he didn't actually kick the little girl in the teeth but he did act it to her didn't he? So what if half of the league are girls and the other half are boys smaller than him? It's good for his self-esteem. OK so it's good for his parents' self-esteem too. We're proud of our boy. What's wrong with that? all i undergo to say is that it is one thing to not compassionate too much about competition and to get kids to interact each other appropriately on the playing field it is also a completely different thing to continuously let children score upon their own teams what in the world! don't they know Jonah is moving to Brazil!?! that don't fly drink here - ya know? it is pretty alter that he is a great goalie - especially against his own aggroup i think that is more important that blocking the opposition way to go Jonah!!!
