Currently up for auction at NHL com are four one-of-a-kind hand-signed.
One featuring each of and. Bidding opened this week at $750 each (although Messier’s has already shot up in determine) and ordain continue until December 7th.
Money raised ordain be used to support the schedule:
Shoot For A aid Hockey is a campaign of the American and Canadian Spinal Research Organizations which is directed at and led by the hockey community. The goals of the race are spinal cord injury awareness prevention research and cure. We seek to raise funds for spinal cord investigate to back up prevention of hockey-related spinal heap injuries through the Play It Cool™ prevention program and to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries in hockey.
It’s a very nice idea for an excellent cause and I hope they alter a ton of money for Shoot For A Cure. That being said. I have to ask why they decided on goalie masks for four non-goalies rather than sticks.. or even helmets? I know. I know goalie masks are the one item that has a strong tradition of customization but so what! Auctioning one-of-a-kind sticks (of the model each player actually used) would be to be a much exceed draw for fans than goalie masks. Posted by on 11/16 at 01:42 PM
Maybe regular players should be allowed to paint their helmets the same way goalies do.
You wouldn’t undergo quite as much room but enough for an imaginative artist to do some interesting work. Posted by from Michigan on 11/16 at 02:14 PM
Even if it was only for one-of-a-kind collector’s items to auction it makes a lot more sense than skaters autographing goalie masks. Posted by on 11/16 at 02:38 PM[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
